About Lincoln Japan Festival
Japan Festival is a Lincoln-based annual celebration of the rich and varied culture of Japan. Each year Blueprint: Film Foundation hosts a jam-packed collection of exciting cultural events taking place across some of Lincoln’s best venues. The festival comprises of a varied programme that engages, inspires and provides audiences with the opportunity to experience this amazing culture first hand. We are a non-profit festival and aim to encourage cultural acceptance, connect new audiences to a range of venues within the city and make arts and culture events accessible to all. 2018’s programme included activities for all ages and abilities, and kept ticket prices as low as possible to make events widely inclusive and available to everyone.
2019’s festival is set to be bigger than ever, with extra workshops added to the schedule, including evening sessions to accommodate those working in the day. We’ve added some exciting new events too, such as manga-drawing workshops, videogame tournaments and a board game day. Check the events page for the full listing.
Lincoln based non-profit organisation Blueprint: Film Foundation organised the event to educate and celebrate Japanese Culture and share it with the Lincolnshire community.
